Difficult verses in the bible

How do you view the bible?  Would you be willing to accept that there is a possibility that you have almost no understanding of the bible's contents, even the easy to understand verses? If you have come to a point where the bible no longer holds any mystery to you (because its already been explained in detail) would you be willing to humble yourself and entertain the possibility that maybe the bible is much greater than you think? What if the wisdom in its contents are much greater than every preacher or teacher you have ever  heard or read? Psalm 119:99 

Is it possible that those who have previously explained certain verses in the bible could of robbed you of the meanings by giving you a wrong explanation so that you are forever captive to a belief that is not of God? Would you be willing to lose everything you have been taught, even your faith .. to find the peace of God?

Would you be willing to lose your confidence in your understanding of the bible? Do you seek peace? Do you know that the bible says that the peace of God is above all understanding? The bible does not say that the peace of God is above some understanding, no.. it says that the peace of God transcends ALL understanding... Phil 4:7

Jesus said -

 I give praise to you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have kept these things secret from the wise and the men of learning, and have made them clear to little children.

Why do evil men prosper?

" That ye may be sons of your Father who is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sendeth rain on the just and the unjust"

                     Matthew 5:45        

So God sends rain, not only to the just but also the unjust? A lot of christian teaching never mentions this often overlooked aspect of our heavenly Father. Many are led to believe that God only blesses good people but here we see its not the case. Jesus does not say that the unjust will inherit the kingdom of God but he reveals that evil men can enjoy prosperity. Is Jesus talking only about material blessing or could we also include spiritual blessings? Can evil men be spiritually blessed? Can they be called and empowered to do God's work? Can the Holy Spirit come upon a false prophet? What about Judas Iscariot? Is it possible that your conclusions on these matters could affect your life, even in a positive way? Maybe we ought to memorise these sayings and meditate upon them, asking God to give us wisdom. Is it any surprise that even Job asks the question

 "Why do the wicked go on living, grow old, and even become more powerful?" .. and he goes on to say " They spend their days in prosperity "

Is that fair? Is it just? More importantly is God unjust? What is the fate of the wicked? We would do well to read the whole book of Job for ourselves and meditate upon it while not making our own conclusions or borrowing the conclusions of others lest we miss some golden nugget of truth.
